Make It Through The Day (2022)

A bagel with some cream cheese

A tiny hit of THC 

A little clean laundry

And I’m ready for reality

A kiss from my lady, a smile from my baby

These things are the only things I need to make it through the day

A little bit of exercise

To counteract the curly fries

A bay ride at low tide has got me feeling all right

A face lick from my doggo 

Play a little guitar so

I have the only things I need to. 

Make it through the day 

I lose it all is the day you'd think I’d fall apart

Screaming at the sky, asking for the reason why it’s so hard

Troubles come and go. Potholes in the road

Ain’t a reason you should stay out of the car

A phone call with a good friend

Make a little cheddar to spend 

learn something new and 

Stick it between my book ends

Sing along to a good tune

Little nap in the afternoon 

These things are the only things I need to make it through the day

Day in day out

I keep my route

Between the lines

High or low

I always know I'll be fine
